Kosovo oppositional political subject “Self-determination” will not completely block the roads to the crossings Merdare-northeast and Dheu i Bardhe-southeast. The activists of this movement will close one lane in order to prevent the entry of trucks with Serbian goods, reports Kosovo Police.

The statement says that the representatives of the Kosovo police and “Self-Determination” agreed that the police will not prevent the activists from coming to Merdare and Dheu i Bardhe and its members will not block roads, but only one lane which is used by trucks with the Serbian goods.
Alma Lama a “Self-Determination,” MP said that their actions are in relation to the Kosovo Assembly’s decision to implement economic and trade reciprocity and that it will not last only one day but continue for “days and nights” at the Gates Merdare and Dheu i Bardhe.
Movement leader Albin Kurti said that on 14 January he will be present at Merdare crossing. He said the activists’ of Self-Determination in Merdare will block the road by which Serbian goods are entering, but not the movement of citizens.
However, Kosovo Interior Minister Bajram Rexhepi rejected the claim that an agreement was reached during the meeting of Kosovo Police representatives and the Movement “Self-determination”.
“Everyone will do what he intends, but there is no agreement,” said Rexhepi as Radio Television of Kosovo reported.
