The EU Special Representative in Kosovo, Samuel Zbogar, who officially starts his activities yesterday in Pristina, said his priority is to bring Kosovo closer to the European Union.
In his first meetings in the official capacity as the EU Representative for Kosovo, Samuel Zbogar unveiled EU priorities in Kosovo and announced the beginning of more intensive relations between the EU and Kosovo.
He said that although the EU may not have a joint stance on Kosovo due to some countries not recognizing it, there is a common perception with regards to Kosovo’s future and its European perspective.
“We wish to bring more European Union into Kosovo so as to make Kosovo more European,” said Zbogar in a press conference.
On Tuesday, February 7, 2012, Mr. Zbogar meet with the president of Kosovo Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, as well as with Kosovo PM Hashim Thaci.
